WHO DO WE SERVE?

The MMHA Environment

COLLIBRI

Our special needs educational institution caters for children aged between 5 and 20 suffering from a wide range of intellectual, emotional and behavioural challenges including but not limited to: Aspergers Syndrome, Autism, Celebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Traumatic Brian Injury, Tourette’s Syndrome, Severe Learning Disorders, Mental Retardation, etc.

ATTITUDE CREATIVE WORKS

This experiential learning environment maximises the abilities of beneficiaries who have aged out of Collibri (and other adults with similar challenges) but who have the motor skills and aptitude to produce quality items for sale. In our workshop beneficiaries can learn a range of skills from woodwork to needlework. The idea is to teach skills that will generate a small income for both the beneficiaries and the MMHA and build a small degree of independence in beneficiaries.

ACTIVITY DAY CARE

Our DayCare provides a stimulating and development enriching environment within which beneficiaries can learn life skills and grow their confidence. It offers respite to families and carers of adults diagnosed with intellectual disabilities that prevent them from learning and retaining processes to the extent that they have limited dexterity and competence. Through our activities we try to embed day-to-day living skills instilling in beneficiaries a feeling of achievement and pride.
